Well maintained

I visited French Camp RV Park on my trip to California in August, and it has been a pleasant experience. The grounds are well maintained, but the park itself is in need of an update. The dead grass was a result of the drought that Jerry Brown is enduring, and people park in the RV spots and on the streets. While the RV sites are decent, the bathrooms and shower areas could use some updating. There are also a few nice amenities in the park, including a lap pool and hot tub, although the lavatory facilities could use a makeover.

There are 86 campsites in the campground. Some are right next to Rock Creek, which is a popular place to kayak or fish. Most campsites are large enough to accommodate RVs and trailers, with two campsites reserved for tents. Despite this, French Camp offers plenty of amenities to make your stay at the park a pleasant one. The campground closes for the winter and early spring, so check ahead.
